Meet Kris Kringle!
June 9, 2008

Seeking one very special home with lots of love for darling Krissy Kringle

Watch Kris Kringle's Video!
Tiny Krissy Kringle, a dwarf lionhead sweetie is such an amazing strong little girl. She came to us just before christmas with her back legs crushed and unable to walk. She was dumped at a vet clinic because her family did not want to pay for her care. She was in tremendous pain and perhaps 1/4 of one pound in size. Now, with the help of magnificent Dr. Carolynn Harvey and incredible supportive care of The Rabbit Haven volunteers inclduing Heather and Paul Metz-Egli, Krissy is doing Very well. After special herbal remedies, T-Touch and Physical Therapy prescribed by Dr. Harvey, her spinal injury is totally healed. She still has one leg that has healed in an odd position, but she dances about and plays with such glee that she hardly notices. The leg is not broken her hip had just been displaced and we were not able to surgically repair it. She CAN use a litter box with support, she just needs a little help getting in and out. Krisssy loves toys, kisses, and she runs to the pen door for her cuddles every morning and anytime you walk by. She is just fine on carpet and you do need a few shallow litter boxes with hay to help her make it to the litter box in time. Krisssy loves being with her family. She is so charming, such an elegant, cute little bunny. And sweet too!

Kris is considered a special needs bunny and she will also meet your every need if you want lots of love and spunky spirited energy in one tiny darling package! Krissy will need to see Dr. Harvey at Chabot Veterinary Clinic annually or if she has any problem. The adopter will receive a free exam with Dr. Harvey at Chabot where you will need to learn T-Touch to continue her healing therapy. Otherwise she is Very helathy. This is one VERY speical bunny! She will eventually need to be spayed, but she needs to heal a bit more before we do that. She is simply adorable! Contact Auntie Heather for an adoption appointment, director@therabbithaven.org or (831)239-7119.
