Leon Needs a Special Foster Home
March 1, 2012
Leon
My name is Leon. I'm a neutered male who came into the shelter with a badly lacerated leg (left) and some damage to my toes. The vet said she thinks I was attacked by another animal. I've been seeing the doctor on a regular basis and am finally making progress towards healing. I really am getting a little crabby about all these doctor's appointments even though I know they are very necessary. I'm really friendly and crave human attention which I don't get much of because I'm not kept in the bunny room. I am in the hospital section and they do not have many nurses here! Not much space either. There are all sorts of animals here. However, I think they are so nice to have helped me get well so far. Now they need me out as other animals need to come it too.

I want to be out to play and I have to stay put and heal. I will just sit with you for ever if you pet me and love me. My leg is bandaged (looks like a cast) up to the top of my leg and you would not believe how agile I am. I hop around and jump up on boxes and if I fall over, well I just get up and dust myself off and start over again. I I’ve toys, greens, and attention. I'd love a foster home so I can heal around with friends and family. Think about me. I'm a great girl and I am in need of urgent foster (they say they are running out of space here at the shelter) Auntie I worried as so many medical bunnies have come in …. Will you foster me? All medical care will be handled by the doctor at the shelter or you may use another doctor or learn to do bandage changes yourself. They can show you.

Send email Auntie Heather at director@therabbithaven.org or call 831 600-7479 today if you can help. Please help me get out of the shelter and let me heal.
