Jumanji Needs Tooth Surgery
Update: September 19, 2014

Jumanji went in to see Dr. Harvey today to have his dental surgery. Today she needed to remove two teeth! Jumanji was able to keep one upper and one lower incisor tooth. Tonight he is in foster care recovering and having loads of TLC from his foster family.

Thank you to Dr. Harvey for evaluation the tooth issues of Jumanji and being able to save some of his teeth. Thank you for everyone who sent in donations to help with Jumanji’s surgery. We will send photos when Jumanji is feeling better.

Jumanji, an adorable lion head bunny is suffering from extensive dental issues and needs surgery. Jumanji's dental issues cause him serious concerns requiring him to see the veterinary every four weeks for incisor trims. To relieve Jumanji of further need for dental trims and repeated anesthesia risk, Dr Harvey plans to go ahead with the dental extraction Friday September 19th at Chabot Veterinary Hospital. When those teeth are removed, Jumanji will have a recovery period, then hopefully be pain free and worry free the rest of his life. The cost of this procedure is estimated to be between $600 and $850. To help us to provide this life saving surgery for Jumanji use The Rabbit Haven's PayPal account or donate by check. Indicate that your donation is for Jumanji.
