The Rabbit Haven's New Spay/Neuter Clinic Opens May 23rd

The Rabbit Haven's New Spay/Neuter clinic opens May 23rd in Watsonville. The Rabbit Haven is coordinating a spay/neuter day with Dr. Hilary Stern DVM of Animal Hospital of Soquel, Friends of Santa Cruz County Animals(FOSCCA) and Friends for the Watsonville Animal Shelter(FOWAS). The clinic will be held at the FOWAS location in Watsonville at 150 A Pennsylvania Drive from 8 am to 4 PM. 15-20 rabbits will be spayed or neutered on this day.

Dr. Stern is coordinating the medical services and supply. FOWAS is donating the clinic, and all the surgical supply has been donated by FOSCCA. Staffing and volunteers will be managed by The Rabbit Haven. Rabbits will be coming from The Rabbit Haven.

We need volunteers to help with transport, intake, cage set up, clean up, and post-operative care of rabbits. Rabbit food, linens, towels, and food for the volunteers are also needed. If you'd like to volunteer, or donate supplies, please contact Auntie Heather at or (831)600-7479.
