Eli - Bunny With Head Tilt Rescued
July 14, 2016

Eli will be neutered on July 17 and his foster will continue his new medications for his inner ear infection. He may require surgery for this if we cannot correct this infection systemically. Eli is a charming little guy who has a bad ear infection. He has been tested for all other possible diseases. He is E. cuniculi and Pasteurella negative. He is eating and drinking on his own now. In a few months we hope he will have recovered and be available for adoption.

Eli on intake

Hi, I see you! I need a foster home.

Hello my name is Eli. I landed at some shelter and I was issued an end date. They will not let me stay here because I have a medical need due to my head tilt. So, since I had to be out today, the Haven rescued me today! Next I need a foster home. I live separate from other bunnies. Oh, I went to the doctor yesterday. I had an x ray and a blood test. All results are pending. Anyway, if you can foster me I will be happy. I am determined to get better. I am not dizzy, I am not rolling. I just have head tilt.

I am with Auntie Heather right now and she can show you how to give me my meds and to do my physical therapy. It is easy and I like it. I am a super sweet little bunny. I just need a place to be. I am a loving bunny, very small (2 pounds), and I am a boy, not neutered yet. I do not spray or anything. If you will help me I will give you kisses. Auntie will transport me to you. The Haven pays for all set up and medical bills too.
