was rescued last year with a group of 20 others from a local shelter bombarded
with dumped rabbits. Fufu found a loving foster home through the Haven
with Cynthia and family- Then she waited for her spay surgery.
Fufu gained weight, and looked pretty healthy! She was a happy girl! Then sadly, after her spay the vet told us that she had what they thought thought was a blood clot in her eye. It turned out to be much more serious. Miss Fufu received vet and ophthalmic care right away and we decided to try and save her eye. She has huge brown eyes -- medicines, drops, all sorts of things were tried, but last week we learned that the eye had abscessed and she needed surgery!
So this will be done this
Thursday -. there appears to be nothing else we can do. So her prosthetic
eye is in, the date is set and I am so concerned about her. She is a beautiful
large Brown spot rabbit with the tallest ears.
She is in pain so she is on good pain meds. We ask that each of you send her healing thoughts and energies- We will keep you posted on how her surgery goes. Our sweet Miss Fufu!
