Surrendering your rabbit

7-1-2025 – Surrendering your rabbit:

The Rabbit Haven now will ask for a surrender fee of 75.00 to accept a surrendered rabbit.  Since 1987 we have not charged a surrendered fee, however,  the cost of care has risen sharply in the past few months.  We trust that you will understand.  Rabbit intakes cost us around 300 per rabbit.  Plus the ongoing costs for medical care as needed.

Please call Heather at 831 239-7119 to make arrangements for your rabbit you want to rehome.

Newborn litter and mom. Mom and litters are 100.00 surrender fee.

Happy New Year

Dear Haven family,

As 2023 comes to a close, the Haven staff and I wish you and your family a Happy New Year.

We are proud of what we accomplished this year. Working together with our wonderful rescue partners, we have saved the life of every rabbit needing out of shelters we work with. This is no small feat. The Rabbit Haven carries out state wide rescue coordination and working together we get it done and the animals are safe and loved in foster care or in adoptive homes.
